Corporate Christmas wine: when to order, how many bottles and what not to underestimate

Corporate Christmas runs in its own time zone. In August it seems absurdly far away. In October you feel there is plenty of time. And then the first week of December arrives, and “this year we’d like something really nice” turns into “what do you have in stock and can you do it by Friday?”

If you want your corporate wine to feel like a thoughtful gift, the greatest luxury is not an expensive bottle. It is time.

Why start earlier than you feel like it

When you have several weeks, you can choose. Taste samples. Change your mind. Adjust the artwork. Split clients into groups. Prepare two packaging options. Check the addresses. Test how the label will look on a real bottle.

When you have five days, you are just placing an order.

And the difference between choosing and ordering shows in the result.

How many bottles do you actually need

The first list is often too long. You open the CRM, export every contact, and end up with a number nobody wants to pay for.

It is more interesting to start with relationships.

Who is a key client? Who completed a big project with you this year? Who recommended you to others? Who is a new partner you want to show that you take the collaboration seriously?

Gifts don’t have to mirror your database.

They can mirror your real relationships.

One bottle, two bottles or a set? One bottle is elegant and simple. Two bottles already offer a choice and feel more representative. A set of three or more bottles suits situations where you want a more striking gift or a tasting.

For a larger number of employees, one very good bottle can make more sense than complicated packaging. For ten VIP clients, on the other hand, you can afford something distinctly more personal.

You don’t need one price level for the whole world.

A Christmas label doesn’t need a snowflake

Christmas design has its visual traps. Gold stars, red bows, snowy twigs. There is nothing wrong with them, but almost everyone uses them.

If your brand has a strong visual identity, it is often more elegant to stay true to it and express Christmas through words or a small detail.

“Thank you for a year together.”

“May the next one be worth a toast.”

“To the good things still to come.”

A line like that can age better than ten snowflakes.

Logistics is part of the design

A beautiful gift that arrives on 7 January is no longer quite a beautiful gift.

With larger orders, treat distribution as seriously as the label. Will everything go to one address? Will you ship individually? Who has the current addresses? Who will deal with undelivered parcels? Does anything need to be packed in with the bottle?

These are boring questions only until something goes wrong.

The nicest corporate Christmas is a little personal

You don’t need to know the name of every client’s dog. But you can know why you are thanking them.

A single sentence that refers to your real collaboration can turn a universal gift into a personal one.

And that may be the biggest difference between a bottle that ends up in a cupboard and one that someone opens that very evening.

Good to know

  • When should you start ordering corporate wine for Christmas? The more personalisation and addresses, the earlier. For a comfortable selection and artwork, it is sensible to deal with gifts in the autumn.
  • How many bottles should you order? First divide recipients by relationship and importance; you don’t have to gift your entire CRM export in the same way.
  • Does a Christmas label have to be Christmassy? No. Your corporate visual style plus one good sentence often works better than generic Christmas motifs.

When to order?

We can handle smaller orders quickly. For larger runs with personalisation and gift packaging, it is wise to start several weeks in advance — especially if you want samples, a design proposal or individual packaging.

How many bottles to order?

First divide your recipients: employees, regular clients, key partners, VIPs. Not everyone has to receive the same thing — segmentation puts the budget to more meaningful use.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the wine, quantity, personalisation and packaging. For hundreds of pieces, a clean, well-designed bottle tends to be efficient. For ten VIP clients, a more premium version makes sense.

What do companies most often underestimate?

Time and distribution. Producing 300 bottles is one thing; getting them to 120 addresses is another. Plan the logistics at the same time as the design.

Adults only

Wine, yes. But only from eighteen.

Before we let you browse the bottles, one small thing: please confirm that you are at least 18.

Alcohol may not be sold to minors.

Taste first.

Then order with confidence.

Taste before you decide

A difficult choice? We’ll send you the evidence.

Not sure which wine is the right one? Order samples and taste them at your leisure.

A fair warning: a sample is a small amount of wine with a surprisingly strong ability to trigger an order.

Sometimes a case.

Sometimes several cases.

And sometimes, quite innocently, someone starts talking about a pallet.
