How much does personalised corporate wine cost, and what affects the price

“How much is a bottle with a logo?” is a question that sounds simple, but in reality it leaves out almost everything that matters.

#Budget#Personalisation#Gift packaging

Corporate wine packaging with a card

It is a bit like asking how much a suit costs. You can buy off the peg, have something altered or order a made-to-measure piece. All three options can be right - it depends on where you are going in it.

Corporate wine is the same.

The price of the bottle is just the beginning

A budget brings together the wine itself, the number of pieces, personalisation, design work, the sticker or label material, packaging, assembly and shipping.

With small quantities, some costs are spread over just a few pieces, so a single bottle comes out more expensive. With a larger run, production usually becomes more efficient.

But that doesn’t mean the best strategy is to order as many as possible.

A gift without a clear recipient is still an unnecessary cost.

Where it pays to spend more

First, on the wine. If you have to choose between a better bottle and a more elaborate box, we would usually give priority to the wine.

Second, on the design. Not necessarily on expensive effects, but on making the result look professional.

And third, on logistics, if you are shipping to many addresses. This is where trying to save money often comes back as chaos.

Where you can save without losing elegance

On the unnecessary.

You don’t need five-colour printing if one colour works. You don’t need a box if the bottle looks great on its own. You don’t need to print a brochure if a small card with one sentence will do.

Minimalism is not a cheaper version of luxury. It is often a more luxurious version of a budget.

Budgeting by relationship

You don’t have to give everyone a gift of the same value. In companies, the intensity of relationships naturally varies.

For a large group of employees, one quality bottle with a personal thank-you can work. For a key partner, you can add a second bottle, special packaging or individual touches. For a VIP client, a limited series or a more mature wine may make sense.

It is not about ranking how important people are. It is about making the gift fit the situation.

The biggest mistake is spending money on an effect nobody wants

An expensive wooden box is beautiful if the recipient appreciates it. If they throw it away straight away, it was just an expensive route for the product to the recycling bin.

Likewise, luxury printing effects make sense when they support the design. Not when you use them simply because they exist.

A budget is not just a financial constraint. It is an editing tool.

It forces you to decide what really matters.

So how much does corporate wine cost? The right price is one at which you can create a gift that suits the recipient and that you can comfortably repeat next year too.

If you feel you have to justify every detail by its price, the whole concept may be too complicated.

Good wine doesn’t need financial footnotes.

Good to know

  • What affects the price of corporate wine? The wine, the number of pieces, personalisation, design, the label or sticker material, packaging, assembly and shipping.
  • What is worth investing in first? The quality of the wine and good design; elaborate packaging is only the next layer.
  • Can you create a premium gift on a reasonable budget? Yes. Clean design, quality wine and simple personalisation can feel more luxurious than an over-decorated solution.

What goes into the price?

The wine, quantity, sticker or additional label, printing method, artwork preparation, packaging, assembly and shipping. In small runs, fixed costs make up a larger share; in larger runs, they are spread more efficiently.

Is personalisation expensive?

It doesn’t have to be. A quality sticker is very affordable — with us, from CZK 8 per piece. Special materials, spot varnish, embossing or a non-standard construction increase the price.

More expensive wine, or more expensive packaging?

If you have to choose, invest in the wine first. A beautiful box won’t save poor contents.

Can you save without losing impact?

Yes — by cutting out the unnecessary. A good bottle, clean personalisation and simple, quality packaging look better than a combination of five effects.

Taste before you decide

A difficult choice? We’ll send you the evidence.

Not sure which wine is the right one? Order samples and taste them at your leisure.

A fair warning: a sample is a small amount of wine with a surprisingly strong ability to trigger an order.

Sometimes a case.

Sometimes several cases.

And sometimes, quite innocently, someone starts talking about a pallet.
